Digital Media Festival. The awards included: Best
achievement in Animation, Graphic Design, Game
Programming, Screenplay, and the professional game.
More than 80 games competed in the first Digital Media
Festival; “QoP: The End of Innocence” took the most
prizes among the nominated games.

Quest of Persia Prequel will be called "The End of Innocence". The name refers to the main character Arashk who is an innocent Engineer working in a plant, Suddenly finds himself in the middle of the Iran-Iraq war. He is now, left with no choice but to fight the iraqi forces...
Prequel Soundtrack, 12/2/2005
Farshad Yazdanian is going to create the unique music theme for
Quest of Persia Prequel. Ali Irani ( known actor of movies such as "Noon o
Goldoon", and "Banooyeh Ordibehesht") will be the character voice of Arashk.

Cut-Scene Animations , 17/1/2005
Ila Soleimani will supervise the creation of more than 25 minutes of high quality cut-scene animations, for "Quest of Persia: The End of Innocence."
With the help of Anders Ehrenborg in Sweden as character modeler,
Saghar Tallaie as building and Object Modeler, and Roozbeh Edjbari as Visual
Effect, and real-time physic supervisor, QoP Animations promises to be one the
exciting animations ever built for a computer game.
Since Quest of Persia is a Game highly based on an adventure story, Animation
cut-scenes will play a major role in the game.
"The Prequel" , 20/8/2004
Quest of Persia Project prequel aims to describe how the main characters Arashk and Leyla find themselves.
The Story kicks off in the heat of the war between Iran-Iraq. While Arashk is
working as an Engineer in a plant near the border, Leyla is an archeologist who
tries to explore the secrets of Iran Ancient sites.
